Nancy'sOur usual meeting hall, the Knights of Columbus on Union Turnpike, is not available for our October meeting date of the first Thursday of the month. We are relocating for this meeting only, to Nancy’s Restaurant at 255-41 Jericho Turnpike in Floral Park, NY. This block is actually in Queens. There is parking available across the street in a lot operated by Floral Park Village.

We’ve established a tradition of offering an optional dinner at our October meeting in honor of Columbus Day. Since we can’t offer the dinner at the Knights of Columbus, we’ve transferred our meeting to Nancy’s Restaurant. We are serving a four-course dinner including soda, coffee/tea, tax, and tip for just $40 per person. You do not have to purchase the dinner to attend the meeting, but those attending for the meeting only, please be advised there will be no coffee/cake/soda served. There is a cash bar.  There are nine options to choose from for your choice of entree:

Nancy’s signature slow cooked potato and bacon soup

Nancy’s house mixed green salad with tomatoes, carrots, fresh herbs and balsamic and olive oil vinaigrette
Caesar salad with fresh parmesan cheese, garlic croutons and creamy Caesar dressing

—-Choice of Entrée’s—-

* Hand crafted gnocchi with braised pork shoulder and sautéed mushrooms
*Penne pasta with sweet Italian sausage, light tomato cream sauce
*Penne ala vodka
*Thyme marinated grilled pork loin
*Sautéed tilapia with charred onion vinaigrette

*Garlic and thyme marinated marinated grilled chicken breasts, natural chicken jus
*Penne pasta with grilled chicken, apple wood smoked bacon, and roasted garlic cream sauce
 *Risotto with braised pork shoulder, natural jus
 *Nancy’s signature grilled hanger steak with natural jus
Entrees served with seasonal fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes.  Pasta and gnocchi are not served with vegetables.
