There is an old extremely troubling, yet almost forgotten,  story about Hillary Clinton, which in her New York Times best -selling book, “ Liars, Leakers, and Liberals, the Case Against the Anti-Trump Conspiracy”, Jeanine Pirro-  currently known to her large audience on the hit Fox News show “ Justice with Judge Jeanine” as “ Judge Jeanine” and known for years before by that same name to the millions of viewers who had watched her appear as a legal and political commentator on every major television network – reminds her readers. 

The story goes back to 1975 and occurred in the state of Arkansas. A beast named Alfred Taylor had been charged with the rape of a twelve- year old girl.  The attack was so savage that it left the victim, now a 55 year- old woman, in a coma for several days and damaged her body so severely that she would be unable to have children for the rest of her life.

A great awakening is occurring now unprecedented in modern times. A mass exodus of newly awakened former liberal Americans are walking away from the Democrat Party.

I walked away after September 11, 2001. My family and I were lifelong liberal Democrats. I was a fervent world peace activist. My wife and I walked away and changed our voter registrations to Republican about 14 years ago after a few years of soul searching. In the aftermath of September 11, the mental fog lifted and I realized my true heart and soul was with America. I waved the flag proudly and my eyes welled up with tears when I heard Lee Greenwood’s song “God Bless the U.S.A.” But many of my liberal friends and family blamed America for the terrorist attacks on our nation, professing that America is racist, imperialistic, materialistic, selfish, and greedy, and we deserved the lessons of 9-11 in order to change our evil capitalistic ways. Feeling deserted and betrayed, we parted company and I went searching anxiously for new friends and new ideals. That was when I started reading David Horowitz FrontPage Magazine and attended meetings of the Queens Village Republican Club and the rest is history.

As Sheldon Silver, the former NYS Assembly Speaker was sentenced to 7 years for kickbacks, I was appalled by the state that the Albany legislative body is in today. All the corruption and wasted taxpayer dollars seems not to anger the incumbent elected officials. I know there are some that are upset, but not enough politicians are speaking out on the rampant corruption that Albany is faced with.
