On Sunday, August 10th, hundreds of friends and families from across the communities surrounding Alley Pond Park came together for a joyful day of food, fun, and fellowship at our Family Fun Day BBQ. It was a true celebration of summer and patriotism, with delicious food, exciting games, drone flying, dazzling magic, inspiring speakers, and the electric sounds of DJ Jimmy James. The highlight of the day was welcoming New York City’s next Mayor, Curtis Sliwa, who energized the crowd with his message of hope for our city.
