Record 250+ Republicans Rock the House at Queens Gala Lincoln Dinner with William Kristol
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” William Kristol, keynote speaker at the 140th Anniversary Lincoln Dinner quoted these lines from Deuteronomy 31:6, speaking about Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s recent address before a joint session of Congress, giving renewed hope and courage to all in attendance to stand up for Republican principles in a perilous world.

On Sunday March 22, 2015, Staten Island District Attorney Daniel Donovan, the Republican and Conservative candidate for the May 5th Special Election for Congress in New York’s 11th District, will have a busy day. He will be coming from the Grand Openings of both his Staten Island and Brooklyn Campaign Headquarters that morning and travelling up to Queens to deliver the Abraham Lincoln Address in front of a large crowd at the 140th Anniversary Lincoln Dinner at Antun’s of Queens Village.
William Kristol, editor of the Weekly Standardand our nation’s leading defender of US, Israel and the West will be the keynote speaker at the 140th Anniversary Lincoln Dinner hosted by America’s oldest GOP Club, the Queens Village Republican Club. The gala dinner party will be held on Sunday, March 22, at 3 PM at the famous Antun’s of Queens Village, where almost every New York Governor, New York City Mayor, and President of the United States has been in attendance since the 1950s.

For the past year, the Queens Village Republican Club has been leading the charge, on the forefront of the New York City and State political landscape. We’ve not only been in the news, but making the news. One year ago we stood on the steps of Queens Borough Hall in a freezing snow storm and declared our indignation against the outrageous remarks of Governor Cuomo, when he said conservative Republicans should leave New York. A few months later we were back at Borough Hall challenging the “Status Cuomo” and we haven’t stopped challenging it to this day, even as Cuomo recently commiserated, surrendering to the corruption of politics in New York, saying: “You’ve always had and you probably always will have some level of corruption.”
Ever since the attack on the staff of the magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris in January, where terrorists killed 12 and shouted, “We have avenged the Prophet Muhammad” and “God is Great,” the Western World, especially New York City, being the world’s #1 target, have been on high alert. There have been 16 known terrorist plots against the city since Sept 11, 2001 according to the NYPD. Another attack on NYC is “not a question of if, but when.” Are we prepared?
