We are pleased to welcome back former INS Special Agent, Michael Cutler to our club. He spoke to us for over an hour and answered questions on the immigration crisis under the Trump administration, which promises to protect our borders, enforce immigration laws and overturn Obama’s executive orders. But we also have de Blasio who vows to defy the Trump administration and keep NYC as a sanctuary city that will refuse to abide by federal immigration law and will not turn over criminal aliens. Watch the video as Mr. Cutler presents an informative and inspiring message.

Welcome Home Republicans
Welcome Home Republicans
By Joseph Concannon
Welcome home to the many Republicans who were formerly lost, disenchanted, and discouraged. Now Republicans can find many reasons to renew that GOP spirit in what it means to be a Republican, especially here in NYC.
Who would think that the Republican Party could ever be competitive again? What a difference a year makes. Who would ever dare to dream about a leading Republican majority in both the House and U.S. Senate? To boot, who would have thought that we could capture the U.S. Presidency as well? What a win! A majority of state governments are led by Republican governors and legislators. Our own New York State has a Republican lead in the State Senate and we are challenging the status quo in the Assembly as well. It’s exciting! You have a front row seat to our Constitutional Republic, and the Republican Party is leading the way. You are a member of not only the oldest active Republican Club in America, but the largest, strongest, and most active Republican Club in the downstate region. Wow!!!!!!!!!
True Christmas Spirit
True Christmas Spirit
By Frederick R. Bedell Jr.

Christmas is almost here and there is much for most of us to do. Gifts to buy and to wrap, a few more cards to send out, even a few more decorations to put up. It is also a time to reflect about the troubles in the world. I can’t help but wonder about the message of this season which is,” Peace on Earth and good will towards men.” Yet have we lost the meaning of what Christmas is all about? I believe it is a time of caring, giving, sharing and helping others who have so little. We can reshape the world by helping one life at a time, who are of need of our love and compassion. So please give to your local food kitchens, food pantries and community groups and houses of worships that help those in need. Let’s not also forget about donating blood which is low this time of the year And not only during the holidays but all year round.
