Honor Memorial Day
By Frederick R. Bedell Jr., Grand Knight of St. Anastasia Knights of Columbus Council #5911
Memorial Day is a time to honor all those who paid the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives to keep us free. Many wars have been fought and many men and women have died defending what we all hold most dear. As a veteran, I ask all who can to attend the parades in your communities, and wave the American Flag for our brave who have served us, as they march by us. If you cannot attend these parades, please hang the American flag from home, businesses and offices with pride. And if you cannot not do this, please have a moment of silence and offer a prayer for all those that have served and are still serving with dedication to preserving freedom. May God Bless America and pray that we will all may be safe.
