The Passing of Philip T. Sica

We are deeply saddened to learn the news of the passing of our beloved Philip Sica, husband of Naomi, and past president of the Queens Village Republican Club. Philip was born on September 27, 1934 and passed away peacefully in his sleep this past Friday morning, September 10, 2021.

Reverend Sica was the minister of various Seventh-day Adventist Churches. He was active in the American Legion, having served in the Army’s Military Police. He was dedicated to advancing faith in God, country, freedom, and the principles of the Republican Party, serving as State Committeeman of the 24th AD, Republican candidate for public offices, Vice-Chairman of the Queens County Republican Party and serving as its Chaplain. Naomi Sica has invited friends to join the family for the in-person viewing hour and funeral service as follows, or via live stream which can be accessed on the church’s website: https://livestream.com/owsdachurch 

Sunday, September 19, 2021, 2:00 p.m. EST, for the viewing, and then 3:00 p.m. for the funeral service.

The burial will be Monday, September 20, 2021, at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens, Queens—the time yet to be determined.
