Raj Mehta, Chairman and CEO of Infosys International Inc., was honored as “Businessman of the Year” at the Lincoln Dinner on February 10th. He came to America from India with six dollars in his pocket and rose within the information technology industry to establish his own company which has become one of the leading information technology companies on Long Island and was listed in INC 500, as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States. He is also producer and host of a talk show called “Interviews That Matter with Raj Mehta” which airs on ITV/ITVGOLD on Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. Mr. Mehta is a great example of success and achieving the American Dream as an immigrant with humble beginnings.
Pamela Geller is founder, editor and publisher of Atlas Shrugs.com and executive director of the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) and Stop Islamization of America (SIOA). She is best known for organizing mass rallies to protest the Ground Zero mosque and for her recent subway ad campaign calling for support of civilization against the savagery of jihad, which was initially rejected by the MTA. She sued and won in court with the judge ruling that the MTA violated her First Amendment rights. Ms. Geller was honored at the Lincoln Dinner as the “American Patriot of the Year” for her heroic defense of freedom of speech and individual rights.
