“Barbara from Harlem” delivered an impassioned fiery speech at the Queens Village Republican Club meeting on January 3, 2019. She calls herself a Liberal by default, formerly active with the NAACP and Charlie Rangel Club. She walked away from the Democrat Party and is now telling the courageous story of her awakening to the world. She autographed copies of her book “Escaping the Racism of Low Expectations,” all of which were sold out at the meeting.
