Twenty Five conservative Republicans from various clubs, grassroots and pro-life groups assembled Tuesday at 12:00 in the snow storm to voice their protest against Governor Cuomo’s intolerant and offensive remarks that conservative Republicans have no place in New York State. On the “The Capitol Pressroom,” an Albany radio show on Friday, Governor Cuomo said these exact words talking about conservative Republicans:
“Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.”

Over the decades the Queens Village Republican Club has earned the reputation as the producer of the most lavish Republican political event of the year: the annual Lincoln Day Dinner. Our Club revived this exciting event around 1994 after a hiatus of several years. Today it is once again the event to be at and be seen at. A sampling of past bold face headliners include: Florida Congressman Lt. Col. Allen West, Mayor Bloomberg, State GOP chief Ed Cox, NYS gubernatorial candidate and author Herb London, anti-Islamist firebrand Pam Geller, Congressman Rick Lazio, Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa, CUNY board member and lightning rod Jeffrey Wiesenfeld just to name a few.
