GOUSA’s Founder & CEO, John Paul Moran, is a published conservative author, 2020 GOP nominee for Congress (MA-06), former MIT optical space scientist, CMO and multiple-business entrepreneur. After running for Congress, John Paul saw the corruption in politics and knew he had to find a way to address the problem of people blindly voting along party lines while voting against themselves and their own self-interests. Meeting thousands of voters in his district in 2020, John Paul gained the support from over 80% of them on the issues in the deep blue state of Massachusetts – but the Democrat incumbent who failed these same voters still won.

John Paul, along with two other MIT guys and a dedicated team of volunteers, came up with the idea of creating the OppScore app and technology as a simple tool to inform voters about the candidates on the issues that matter to them the most, something like a “Yelp” or “Rotten Tomatoes” for politics. The OppScore is now evolving to become a tracking scorecard that monitors, exposes and rates our federal politicians on a constant basis using GO USA’s rating team and AI technologies, as well as a tool for voters during elections to pick the best candidates.

GO USA’s OppScore ads supported the victories of 20 US House & Senate races, and President Trump, in November 2024 and are poised to support dramatic gains in both chambers in the 2026 midterm elections – with enough support from donors. We are currently developing plans for a national tour targeting battleground states and districts for the US House and Senate, the “Grand Opportunity America Tour” – the G.O.A.T. – and are seeking speakers, sponsors and partners to join the tour to help keep America free.
