LOCAL CONTROL – NOT HOCHUL CONTROL!
NYS has been planning to build high-rises in YOUR community and sell Creedmoor Hospital campus in Eastern Queens to big developers for that purpose. Hochul Housing Compact, off the table for now in state budget talks, is a one-party high-density housing boondoggle that would create 800,000 new units in suburban communities over the next decade, and undermine local control over zoning without community input. Click here for more on Hochul Housing.
Learn how we can fight back and take back control of our communities! Our guest speakers are prominent community leaders who will discuss the impact Hochul Housing and specifically the Creedmoor land redevelopment project will have on our neighborhoods followed by open discussion and Q&A.
President and CFO of Glen Oaks Village, NYC’s largest garden-apartment complex. Former City Council candidate in District 23.
Board President of Bell Park Manor-Terrace aka United Veterans Mutual Housing Company, Inc.
DJ Edmund Lee (djelf7)
New York community activist for the vulnerable communities that are often left behind. His presentation will address the problems with the Hochul housing scam and will highlight the dysfunction that has been public housing and illustrate how corruption can affect and victimize those that it was intended to assist.
Republican NY City Council candidates invited!
Additional speakers to be announced
Coffee and refreshments will be served

We recently learned that thanks to the “suburban uprising,” Gov. Hochul pulled the housing plan from the state budget for now. It shows that when we stand up against government tyranny and make our voices heard, we can move mountains. But the fight is not over yet, especially the huge Creedmoor land redevelopment, which is still on the table!
