The Little Neck Douglaston Memorial Day Parade is recognized as being the largest in the nation.  Held annually since 1927, it is a time for citizens to come together to honor veterans and fallen heroes, and for the community to come together and celebrate.

All are welcome to come to the volunteer meeting to get involved and help with the planning and logistics of the parade.

Here is a photo of some of the last meeting’s attendees, including Commander Frank Weldon of the American Legion and members of the St. Albans Post. Commander Weldon was kind enough to make time in his schedule to attend, and will be assisting the Parade Committee this year.
