HISTORIC QUEENS BUS TOUR – SOLD OUT
May 14, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Take the Historic Queens Bus Tour and see the past!
It’s back! Our historic bus tour of the boroughs which had to be abandoned for two years due to the COVID lockdown is resuming on Saturday, May 14. Having visited all five boroughs, we are starting the circuit again by visiting Queens. This is an all-day, all-inclusive tour that will visit sites from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. Take guided tours of the oldest bar in the United States from 1829, the oldest house in Queens built in 1661 and the birthplace of religious freedom in America, an African-American inventor’s Queen Anne home built in 1889, the home of a signer of the constitution built in 1733/1810, and a stone Dutch farmhouse built in 1709. We leave from the 17th century Queens County Farm Museum at 9 am and return at 5 pm. Lunch is included and will be at the renowned Zum Stammtisch, one of the few German restaurants left in Queens. Cost is $120 per person inclusive of transportation, lunch, tips, and museum admission fees. Space is limited. Email Jim Trent at jtrent251@gmail.com for reservations or more information. You can also call at 718-343-8830.
