Mar. 2\, 2023 at 7:30 pm\nMeeting at: Bellerose Jewish Center 254-14 Union Tpk.\nFloral Park\, NY 11004\n_________________________________________ \nCrime Prevention and Law & Order\n  \n  \nWe present an urgent and informative discussion about the #1 issue of public safety affecting all New Yorkers\, the solutions\, and what we can do as citizens to thwart crime in our local communities and businesses. Presentations by subject matter experts in the fields of Crime Prevention and Law Enforcement and open discussion from the floor. \nGeorge Tsourovakas and Kenneth O’Donnell\nRetired NYPD detectives and founders of International Emergency Consulting. While serving during Hurricane Sandy\, the COVID Pandemic\, and the 2020 riots\, George and Ken witnessed firsthand the unfortunate reality – that most New Yorkers are not prepared for a serious civil disturbance\, emergency\, or the rise in crime New Yorkers are seeing. They founded I.E.C. to teach the public how to prepare and defend themselves in times of crises.  \n\nMadeline Brame \nChairwoman of Victim Rights Reform Council\, State Director BLEXIT New York\, and Mother of Homicide Victim Sgt. Hason Correa.  Sgt. Hason\, Afghan War Retired Vet was murdered in Harlem 2018. Hason was stabbed to death by 4 people he did not know\, nor had he done any harm. The defendants in his murder are siblings. After 4 1/2 years fighting for justice for Hason’s murder in the Manhattan Criminal Courts\, 2 of the defendants had their murder and gang assault indictments completely dismissed by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg in which both received slaps on the wrist for the part they played in the brutal savage slaying of Hason that was captured on video. The remaining 2 defendants\, both brothers\, received 20-life sentences. Justice and closure for the murder of my son was not served. The fight for justice for Sgt. Hason along with 1000’s of other mothers of Homicide victims although out United States continues. \nJudge George Grasso\, candidate for Queens District Attorney\n43-year record in the NYPD\, Grasso rose through the NYPD ranks\, from street cop\, then earned a law degree to become Deputy Commissioner of Legal Matters and First Deputy Police Commissioner. More recently\, Grasso was Administrative Judge for Criminal Matters for Queens Supreme Court\, and was previously Supervising Judge for Bronx Criminal Court and Citywide Supervising Judge for Arraignments.\n \nCity Council candidates will be speaking!\nCoffee and refreshments will be served\nVIDEO OF CURTIS SLIWA AT JAN 5TH CLUB MEETING\nVIDEO OF JOE PINION AND REPUBLICAN ROCK STARS AT FEB 2ND CLUB MEETING\n  \n“Radio’s Greatest of All Time – Rush Limbaugh\, ” a special gift for all Queens Village Republican Club members from the Rush and Kathryn Limbaugh Family Foundation\, will be available at the March 2nd club meeting to all members who have not yet received it. This book is Rush’s life’s work completed by Kathryn and David Limbaugh.
