DESCRIPTION:Mayor de Blasio’s misguided statue commission\, also known in official parlance as the Mayoral Advisory Commission on City Art\, Monuments\, and Markers\, will hold public hearings addressing the city’s statues and monuments “seen as oppressive\,” including the iconic Christopher Columbus statue at Columbus Circle.\nThe first hearing is at Queens Borough Hall\, 120-55 Queens Blvd. Atrium\, on November 17th from 10am-2pm. The public has been invited to testify.
