Who’s protecting our Finest?

A letter by Fred Bedell submitted to local and regional newspapers.

Mayor de Blasio insults New York’s Finest again by reappointing Judge Laura Johnson who let go without bail, accused man named Devon Coley, who threatened on the web to kill police officers. Added to that she also let go an accused man named Travis Maye, who attacked a police officer in Brooklyn and said,” you will die.” This I find most troubling and appalling to reappoint a judge who apparently has a total disregard for police officers both men and women who put their lives on the line every minute and every hour of the day to protect those in need. Now my question is who’s protecting our Finest ? Well, it is not Mayor de Blasio and it is definitely not Judge Laura Johnson without a doubt.
