MAYOR’S STATUE COMMISSION TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARINGS

November 17, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Mayor de Blasio’s misguided statue commission, also known in official parlance as the Mayoral Advisory Commission on City Art, Monuments, and Markers, will hold public hearings addressing the city’s statues and monuments “seen as oppressive,” including the iconic Christopher Columbus statue at Columbus Circle.

The first hearing is at Queens Borough Hall, 120-55 Queens Blvd. Atrium, on November 17th from 10am-2pm. The public has been invited to testify. You may sign up to testify online here:  https://cityofny.cp.bsd.net/page/signup/publichearing

This politically correct commission includes the mayor’s leftwing friend, Harry Belafonte, an anti-America hate-monger who stated that Bush is the world’s greatest terrorist, worse than bin Laden, and advised Obama to start a dictatorship and jail Republicans. He and other allied critics and partisans will judge whether or not to eliminate NYC’s five statues dedicated to the memory of Columbus, and other historic NYC statues and monuments seen as “symbols of hate.” A group of us will be going to the public hearing to testify and we urge you to sign up and speak out to preserve our American history and civilization.
